ANZ makes senior tech operations appointments

(13 September 2006 – Australia) Peter Dalton has been handed the role of ANZ chief information officer on a permanent basis following a short tenure as acting CIO. Dalton has been with ANZ for 10 years and was previously chief technologist Consumer and Business Technology for the bank’s Personal division. He stepped into the CIO role in June following the departure of Mark Willis.

Dalton will continue to oversee Consumer and Business Technology until ANZ appoints a successor.

ANZ has also recruited Graeme Hosking from Deutsche Bank to take up the newly created role of managing director of Operations. He starts with ANZ on 6 November.

At Deutsche, Hosking is currently managing director of Global Banking and Cash Operations.

Both Hosking and Dalton will report to group managing director Operations, Technology and Shared Services, Mike Grime.
