(15 December 2009 – Europe) An Irish ATM network operator, Link, has offered a £25,000 (A$44,000) reward to anybody with information that leads to the arrest of criminals using a mechanical digger with a telescopic arm to rip out ATM machines in Northern Ireland.

(25 November 2009 – Europe) A German bank manager has been sentenced to a 22 month suspended jail term after being found guilty of moving €7.6 million (A$12.35 million).
(23 November 2009 – Europe) Visa and MasterCard have advised two of Germany’s banks to withdraw a further 60,000 cards out of circulation, in relation to a police investigation, bringing the total number of recalls to around 100,000.
