CBA announces chief financial officer

(15 October 2018 – Australia) Alan Docherty has been confirmed as CBA’s chief financial officer, a role he’s been acting in since May.

Chief executive Matt Comyn said the appointment followed a thorough global and local search for the role following Job Jesudasan’s departure.

The appointment follows a number of changes to CBA’s executive leadership team, including the appointment of Pascal Boillat as group executive enterprise services and chief information officer this month.

Nigel Williams will join the bank early November as chief risk officer, when David Cohen assumes the role of deputy CEO.
