Citi Announces New APAC Corporate Banking Head
(6 May 2020 – Hong Kong) Kaleem Rizvi has been announced as Citigroup’s new Asia Pacific (APAC) head of the corporate banking business.
Based in Hong Kong, Rizvi will report to Jan Metzger, APAC head of banking, capital markets and advisory, and Jason Rekate, global head of corporate banking.
Rizvi most recently held the role of Citi’s corporate and investment banking head for the Andean, Central American and Caribbean cluster and has been with the bank since 1996.
The bank also named Christie Chang as its new corporate banking chairman for the region, in addition to her existing positions as head of Taiwan banking, capital markets and advisory and president of Citibank Taiwan.
“We look forward to this new leadership building further on the strong relationships we have across the region with corporates, financials and public sector clients” Metzger said.
