Citi launches drive-through ATM
(8 August 2007 – China) China is about to get its first drive-through ATM after Citibank unveiled its new machine in Beijing.
Citibank said the drive-through ATM was part of the bank’s efforts to expand its distribution network in China.
The bank said the ATM was an important and efficient contact point for customers its ATM network can only be used by people issued with cards outside of China.
But Citibank said it plans to make the ATM network available to local residents holding locally issued debit cards.
