Commonwealth Bank CFO resigns effective immediately

(14 May 2018 - Australia) Rob Jesudason, chief financial officer at Commonwealth Bank of Australia, has resigned effective immediately with Alan Docherty stepping in as acting CFO.

Mr Jesudason joined the bank in 2011 and spent time in Hong Kong as group executive, international financial services. He is leaving the bank “to pursue an external role in Hong Kong”, the bank said in a statement.

Alan Docherty who has been CFO institutional banking and markets will take up his acting CFO role today.

“We are making good progress with the renewal of the bank’s executive team and I expect to provide an update on appointments to my leadership team in the coming weeks,” said chief executive Matt Cormyn.
