Indonesia’s BNI goes on the road

Indonesia’s BNI goes on the road

(7 September 2004 – Indonesia) PT Bank Negara Indonesia will embark on a domestic and international roadshow to tout the government’s 30 percent stake in the bank later this month. The Indonesian leg of the tour will be followed by trips to Hong Kong, Singapore, London and New York in early October.

Indonesia’s government aims to sell the 30 percent stake through a secondary offering.

The bank, which is the country’s third largest in terms of assets, said the bookbuilding for the offer would be executed by the middle of next month.

BNI expects to sell the stake in the bank at between 1.1 and 1.4 times the book value.
