JPMorgan Expands Risk Management Platform

JPMorgan Expands Risk Management Platform

(16 April 2021 – United States) JPMorgan is expanding and enhancing its risk management platform to efficiently manage all operational risks across global markets. In partnership with Acin, a leading technology and software provider, the bank will create a digital platform and peer-to-peer (P2P) network for operational risk management.

This will be achieved with Acin’s industry benchmarking capability, allowing customers to continuously assess risk and controls against anonymised peer data.  JPMorgan have noted that this will allow for further validation of ongoing operational risk management and assessment.

“Our established operational risk management frameworks enable the firm to monitor key areas of risk. The Acin platform and network will enable additional efficiency and a further source of practical validation” commented JPMorgan Global Head of Markets Business Control Management, Jamie Hamilton.
