JPMorgan Names Asia Co-Head of ECM

(09 December 2020 – Asia) JPMorgan has hired a former UBS banker Huang Peihao as co-head of its equity capital markets (ECM) business in Asia ex-Japan.

At JPMorgan, Huang is joined by Gregor Feige as the other co-head of ECM Asia ex-Japan. The bank appointed Francesco Lavatelli in October as the overall Asia Pacific ECM head.

UBS will have its head of Asia Pacific Capital Markets Lauro Baja cover Huang's responsibilities.

According to East and Partners’ Capital Market Forecast Index research, more than half of the Top 100 corporates in China, Hong Kong and Singapore are looking to raise new equity over the year to March 2021.
