Morgan Stanley amalgamates funds business
(Asia) - Morgan Stanley Asset Management has consolidated its ex-Japan Asian funds business as part of the firm's moves to regionalise its operations in the region under Paul Klug in Tokyo, Japan.
The firm is keeping its separate fund management units in Japan, Singapore and India, and merging key functions in product manufacturing and client support to lift efficiencies without cutting staff.
