New Appointment: East & Partners Europe

(16 March 2020 – Europe) East & Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Daniel Flatt as the firm’s Europe and North America Business Lead. Based in London, Danny will assume responsibility for all client services, market development and service delivery for Europe and North America across East’s range of banking research and analysis services.

Danny joins East from UK-headquartered B2B publisher Haymarket, where he was most recently Editorial Director of its leading financial publications – CorporateTreasurer, FinanceAsia and AsianInvestor.

“We are particularly pleased to welcome Danny to East & Partners with his deep domain knowledge across the B2B banking industry and extensive network. As part of his role with Haymarket, Danny successfully built Corporate Treasurer into the region’s leading integrated, publishing, online and events business talking directly to corporate treasurers”, commented Paul Dowling, Principal Analyst at East.

“Through East’s joint venture in Asia with the Haymarket group, we have worked together for a number of years and these connections will be further enhanced and deliver clients a best of breed service proposition as they navigate success through their markets” he added.

“I’m very pleased to be given this opportunity to work with East, especially after partnering with them on some very exciting projects in Asia,” said Danny. “Rich data and intelligent insight are crucial ingredients for making better business decisions, and I am hopeful my experience founding CorporateTreasurer will place me in good stead to support East in delivering that to our clients.”

The appointment takes effect early in the second quarter.
