Online business matchmaking platform to be launched by VietinBank
(2 March 2018 – Vietnam) VietinBank has announced plans to launch a business matchmaking platform with aims to connect as many as 15,000 businesses in over 113 countries.
The proposed platform, which is being created in partnership with UK-based fintech Opportunity Network, will provide companies with strategic connections to expand into new markets, raise capital and increase cross-border trade.
VietinBank CIO deputy general director Tran Cong Quynh Lan said, “Partnering with Opportunity Network helps us address an important challenge: the fact that many businesses could benefit from expanded tools and valued intelligence solutions that are a step ahead in digitalisation to help companies make the best decisions to leverage the value of their business needs.”
