Rabo appoints new director

(7 December 2007 – Australia) Rabobank Australia & New Zealand has appointed Rob ten Heggeler to its board of directors. Ten Heggeler, who is based in Utrecht in the Netherlands, is also a member of Rabobank International’s managing board.

Formerly with Fortis Bank and ABN AMRO, he has 20 years experience in international banking, working in Europe, Asia and North America. He joined Rabobank last year.

Rabobank Australia & New Zealand Chairman, James Graham, said ten Heggeler’s appointment reinforced the strong links between Rabobank International’s strategy and the activities of the bank in the Australasian region.
