Sing $$ helping Sing get World Bank projects

(Singapore) - Singapore has launched a trust fund to support financing for World Bank studies that assist developing countries in East Asia and the Pacific region. The "Singapore Consultant Trust Fund" is starting with an initial contribution of $2 million and will offer opportunities for Singaporean consulting companies to win business in World Bank projects - an aid model successfully developed by "Japan Inc" many years ago.

In conjunction with the launch, the Government has established up a website to provide information about the services available to countries that qualify for the fund.
