St George ATMs set for BP stores
(26 September 2007 – Australia) St George bank has announced a partnership with BP which will see the introduction of almost 200 ATMs into BP sites across Australia.
The partnership will increase the St George ATM network by 20 percent.
St George acting chief executive officer, Paul Fegan, said that this partnership responds to the needs of customers and both St George and BP customers will benefit from having increased access to ATMs.
Mr Fegan added that the partnership has been established in order to maintain St George’s commitment to customer service and to make the St George network accessible to more customers.
The ATMs in BP sites across Australia will be operated by Customer Ltd, Australia’s largest ASX-listed company in the deployment and ownership of ATMs.
After the initial rollout, St George and BP have planned to identify further opportunities for expansion within the BP network, focusing on the areas of Western Australia, Queensland and Victoria.
