St George’s Barrett moves east
(5 February 2008 – Australia) St George Bank’s Institutional and Business Bank (IBB) has appointed Martin Barrett as general manager for Sales and Distribution, NSW and ACT.
Barrett heads east from his former role managing St George’s Corporate and Retail divisions in Western Australia.
In his new role, Barrett will oversee the bank’s sales and distribution teams in NSW and ACT with his remit covering institutional, corporate and business customers.
St George group chief executive, Greg Bartlett, said Barrett’s appointment reflected the appetite and strength for finance in NSW.
He said in the 12 months to November 2007 commercial finance grew 22.6 percent on the previous year.
