StanChart Africa/Middle East Corporate Finance Executive Announced
(4 June 2020 – Africa/Middle East) Standard Chartered have announced Abbas Husain as corporate finance executive for Africa and the Middle East.
Abbas Husain brings 24 years of banking experience to his new role, 17 years employed for HSBC. He has previously led successful projects and teams in export finance in the region and has experience in executing finance transactions in power, water, oil and gas, and other commodities. He has also previously worked for Citibank managing a range of multinational corporations.
“As we navigate the current COVID-19 crisis, Abbas will play a crucial role in supporting our clients across Africa and the Middle East during this challenging period” stated Standard Chartered Regional CEO for Africa and the Middle East, Sunil Kaushal.
