Citi HK’s Treasury and Trade Solutions Appoints Two Senior Roles

(22 March 2022 – Hong Kong) Citi Hong Kong has made two new senior appointments in its Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) business.

Wu Bin has been appointed as head of Trade for Hong Kong and mainland China. He previously served as head of Trade for TTS China and has been with the Bank for 18 years.

Saurabh Mundhra has been appointed as head of Core Cash Management for Hong Kong. Mundhra was most recently the regional head of payments for Citi’s Asia consumer business. He will be responsible for further growing the Hong Kong Core Cash business, which covers payments, receivables, and Citi Commercial Cards as well as managing the TTS digital platforms.

Both Wu and Mundhra report to Hong Kong head of TTS Vishal Kapoor.

“The trade business has been a key growth driver for TTS in both Hong Kong and mainland China,” said Kapoor, noting that core cash fee revenues from Hong Kong’s TTS unit grew 15 percent year-on-year in 2021.
