Fortis plans for further Asian growth

(6 June 2007 – Australia) Fortis Prime Fund Solutions (PFS) is sending Gordon Shaw, a member of its global management team, to Hong Kong to head up the company’s expansion plans in Asia. Shaw will lead PFS' banking, treasury and custody products and services for hedge funds in Hong Kong, Tokyo and Singapore.

"I am looking forward to being in Asia to enhance our global position as a leading hedge fund and fund solution provider in this exciting region,' he said.

Shaw has spent 12 years with PFS and was managing director of the firm's London operations and also operations director in the Cayman Islands.

Tim Mann will leave his role as managing director of PFS Asia, and is leaving the Fortis Group.
