JPMorgan Appoints New Head of Corporate Client Banking

(17 December 2020 – United States) JPMorgan have assigned James Roddy as global head of corporate client banking following Rob Holmes departure.

Mr Roddy previously functioned as the co-head of diversified industries in investment banking. While in this position he developed a strategy that connected commercial and investment banking services for corporates with revenues up to US$5 billion.

Nonetheless, in his new role, Mr Roddy will be tasked with resolving complex financing needs for mid-sized corporates who are not large enough to benefit from investment banking services. He will report directly to the bank’s CEO of commercial banking, Doug Petno.

“This move is a great example of the depth of talent we have across the firm as well as the strong partnership between our commercial banking and investment banking businesses” commented JPMorgan Commercial Banking CEO, Doug Petno.
