Yim appointed as head, DCM Greater China

(21 August 2015 – China) Standard Chartered Bank has appointed David Yim as head, Greater China Debt Capital Markets (DCM).

Yim joined the Bank in Hong Kong on 17 August reporting to Aaron Russell-Davison, head, DCM.

Yim brings over 20 years of banking experience to Standard Chartered, having spent a significant part of his career building the Asian fixed income business of RBS.

In his most recent role as head of DCM, North Asia at RBS, Yim was responsible for origination and execution of debt products in Hong Kong, China and Korea.

He also held the position of Alternate Chief Executive at RBS Hong Kong, amongst other directorships at its China subsidiaries.

Commenting on his appointment, Russell-Davison said, “I am excited that David has joined our DCM team.

“His years of experience in the Asia debt capital markets make him an invaluable addition as we continue to strengthen our debt origination capabilities.

“We look forward to David’s contribution in this key geography.”
