Sandstone hires Jackson to bolster lending product solutions

(27 November 2006 – Australia) Sandstone Technology, a leading Australian supplier of software development solutions for the banking and finance industry, said it has appointed Brent Jackson to the new role of Asia Pacific general manager for Lending and Custom Solutions.Jackson brings a wealth of financial services and information services experience to the newly created role at Sandstone. He has held a number of senior roles at major domestic banks including global head of Non-Mortgage Lending, Retail Change Program manager and director of E-commerce. Most recently, Jackson was NSW state manager for Members Equity Bank.

In addition to his career in the finance industry, Jackson was also one of the founders of theMoneyShop.com.au and theMoneyCafe businesses, and has worked as a consultant to banks in e-commerce, distribution and sales.

Jackson said that that after running a very large mobile sales force it was clear that straight through processing to the customer was vital.

After ten years of expansion Sandstone has established itself as a leading local software developer for the banking and finance industry.

The company employs more than 80 staff members and its clients include major domestic and international banks operating in Australia. This includes ANZ, Westpac, Adelaide Bank, Bank of Queensland, IMB, Members Equity Bank, Credit Union of Australia, Arab Bank and Rabobank. Sandstone also has a number of international customers in Asia and the UK.
