(21 January 2005 – Australia) ANZ has deepened its food industry expertise by appointing Mark Smith as director of its Food, Beverage and Agribusiness division.Smith has joined the bank from Fonterra Co-operative Group where he held senior management positions with the company’s subsidiary New Zealand Milk. Before this he was chief financial officer at Bonlac Foods.
Smith will report to ANZ head of Food, Beverage and Agribusiness Peter Davis.
“Mark’s significant track record in the FMGC sector deepens our industry expertise and reinforces ANZ’s standing as a leader in the food industry,” Davis said.
