(Australia) – Commonwealth Bank of Australia has appointed a new chief for its Colonial First State Wealth Management Division, announcing that John Pearce will replace the outgoing Chris Cuffe.Cuffe, who has been named as chief executive of the Kerry Packer company CPH Investment Corp, led Colonial First State from its inception, and resigned unexpectedly on the last day of 2002.
Pearce, who had been on sabbatical, has been acting chief since Cuffe’s resignation.
