(26 February 2025 – New Zealand) Airwallex has officially launched in New Zealand, introducing a range of financial solutions designed to support businesses with global expansion.
As part of its product rollout, the company has introduced both physical and virtual corporate cards to enhance expense management and lower transaction costs. Additionally, Airwallex now offers international payments, global accounts, and competitive exchange rates to help businesses streamline cross-border transactions.
To lead its operations in the country, Airwallex has appointed Lowry Gladwell as Associate Director of New Zealand, marking its first local hire.
Regional leader Matt Sek will work alongside Gladwell as the company aims to grow its New Zealand team to 10 employees by the end of 2025.
