(6 March 2025 – Singapore) Crédit Agricole CIB has appointed Christophe Crétot as its new Head of International Trade and Transaction Banking for Asia Pacific, effective 10 March.
Crétot takes over from Laurent Proutière, who has transitioned to CEO of Indosuez Wealth Management’s Asian operations. Based in Singapore, Crétot will oversee the bank’s trade and transaction banking activities in the region, including export finance, commodity finance, trade finance, receivables and supply chain finance, and cash management.
Having first joined the Crédit Agricole Group in 1996 as a fund manager at Indosuez Wealth Management Luxembourg, Crétot later moved into credit analysis at Crédit Agricole CIB in Paris before becoming a loan originator in London, focusing on French and Nordic clients. Most recently, he served as Head of Corporate and Leveraged Finance for Asia Pacific, a role he assumed in 2022.
