(18 June 2025 – China) ANZ has appointed Lachlan Halstead as its new Country Head for China, with the role effective from September, pending regulatory and travel approvals.
He will report directly to Simon Ireland, ANZ’s Managing Director for International.
Halstead brings extensive leadership experience across Asia Pacific, having previously served as ANZ’s Country Head for Papua New Guinea, and held COO roles in Australia, Singapore, and Vietnam, as well as Programme Director in India.
