(14 August 2025 – United States) Wise is joining Google’s new remittance offering as a key provider for Google Wallet online.
Clients in the United States will gain access to Wise Platform’s services, the group’s global infrastructure for banks and enterprises, on Google Wallet online or by searching for select currency exchange rates on Google Search. The feature will be launched as a prototype for Google users in the US.
The remittance experience will enable Google users to conduct international payments on high-demand routes from USD to INR, PHP, MXN and BRL, to compare and transfer funds with selected money movement providers including Wise. Transparency is a key focus with users able to clearly see fees and transaction speeds offered by each provider for a convenient experience.
