HSBC Private Bank Names Gautam Anand to Lead Global India Franchise

(29 April 2026 – India) HSBC Private Bank has appointed Gautam Anand as Head of Global India, effective 24 April 2026, as it strengthens coordination for clients with cross-border wealth needs.

In the role, Anand will oversee the Global India private banking business across key markets including India, Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore and the UK, with a focus on delivering more integrated client solutions and improving connectivity across the bank’s international network.

He will report jointly to Tommy Leung, Head of Private Bank, South Asia, and Aladdin Hangari, Head of Private Bank, MENAT.

HSBC said the appointment supports its “one-bank” approach for Global India clients, as demand for cross-market wealth management services continues to rise.

Anand joined HSBC Private Bank in December 2023 as Global Coordinator for Global India, Middle East, North Africa and Europe, and brings more than 25 years of experience across
