(18 May 2026 – Thailand) Citi has appointed Sutida Tambunlertchai as head of its Citi Commercial Bank (CCB) business in Thailand.
In the role, Tambunlertchai will be responsible for driving growth across Citi’s commercial banking operations in the Thai market.
She joined Citi in 2022 and brings more than 15 years of international banking experience spanning Asia, the Middle East and the UK. Most recently, she served as Citi’s head of commercial subsidiaries group for Thailand.
The appointment forms part of a broader series of leadership changes announced by Citi in recent weeks. The bank recently named Anita Li, formerly of Standard Chartered, to lead its corporate banking business in Hong Kong.
Additional appointments include Raj Rathi as head of mergers and acquisitions in India, while former J.P. Morgan banker Bhavin Shukla was appointed to lead infrastructure banking across JANA and Asia South.
Citi has also recently announced a new global head of insurance and a managing director for specialty finance within its financial institutions investment banking group.
