Citi Expands ETF Platform Connectivity Across Asia Pacific

(25 May 2026 – Australia) Citi Investor Services has introduced FIX API connectivity for Asia Pacific ETF clients using ACES (Advanced Citi ETF System), the bank’s proprietary global ETF platform.

The enhancement enables authorised participants to connect directly with the ACES platform, streamlining ETF order placement along with primary market creation and redemption processes.

The capability will initially launch in Australia before extending to Hong Kong later in 2026.

According to Citi, the FIX protocol is an internationally recognised messaging standard designed for the real-time exchange of securities transaction data.

Citi said direct integration with the ACES platform is expected to improve operational efficiency for market participants, reducing the need to reconcile and manage instructions across multiple separate systems.

“The ETF sector globally, including in Asia Pacific, continues to see significant growth. To service these increasing flows, digitization is critical for speed, efficiency and standardization. Extending FIX API connectivity to Asia Pacific demonstrates our continued commitment to investing in our platform and ETF Servicing business to benefit clients and the broader ecosystem,” said Peggy Vena, head of ETF services at Citi Investor Services.
