(2 September 2026 – Asia) Crédit Agricole CIB has named Nicolas Vix as senior regional officer for Asia Pacific, effective 1 September 2026.
Vix will oversee the bank’s APAC franchise and lead the development of its corporate and financial institution client activities across the region, joining the bank’s Executive Committee in the role.
Vix is a long-standing Crédit Agricole CIB figure, having joined in 1988 and begun his career in Beijing with Banque Indosuez. He has held senior roles across Singapore, Hong Kong, and Paris, and was appointed senior country officer for China in 2019. He succeeds Jean-François Deroche, who is retiring.
The appointment aligns with Crédit Agricole CIB’s stated growth ambitions for the region under its ACT 2028 Strategic Plan, which sets out a strong expansion agenda for Asia Pacific through to 2028.
