JPMorgan Expands Corporate Banking Business to Greece

(9 September 2026 – United Kingdom) – JPMorgan has expanded its corporate banking business to Greece, the U.S. bank ‌said on Wednesday, as part of a broader plan to grow its services for companies across Europe.

JPMorgan has increased staff in its global corporate banking division by ‌25% across Europe, the Middle East and Africa in the last two years, and said the latest move reflected ‌recent growth in the Greek economy.

The Bank said Konstantinos Makrydakis will ‌lead the corporate banking business in Greece, serving large and medium-sized companies.

The bank will offer its ‌array of financing, lending and hedging products as well as target investment banking deals in the country.

JPMorgan is seeking to claim market share from regional and domestic rivals ‌in the region, Reuters reported in July.
