(13 July 2021 – United States (US) based Financial Technology (FinTech) firm Melio have appointed Prashant Gandhi as head of digital payments.
The group offers payment tools for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). Gandhi spent his time at JPMorgan building a team that managed digital payment products. Prior to joining JPMorgan, Gandhi spent 16 years at McKinsey helping to launch a new practice called McKinsey Digital as the global chief operating officer.
In his new role, Gandhi will function as chief business officer where he will be responsible for increasing the number of financial institutions and software companies in partnership with Melio. The company is said to be on track to process tens of billions of payment transaction by the end of this year.
