(1 November 2016 – United Kingdom) ANZ Banking Group (ANZ) has announced the appointment of Mahnaz Safa head of markets, Europe and America, in a new role for the lender.
Safa’s previous experience includes Citigroup, where she was head of markets origination for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and 20 years at Swiss bank UBS, which culminated in joint head of debt capital markets for EMEA.
Safa will report to Shayne Collins, ANZ's managing director of markets, and Diana Brightmore-Armour, CEO of the UK, Europe & Middle East.
She takes up her position, based in London, at the end of November.
