(28 July 2010−Australia) Westpac has chosen a leading global provider of financial services technology solutions, Fiserv, to serve Westpac, St George and Bank SA consumer and business users by powering the bank’s Online Transformation Program.A Fiserv client since 1990, Westpac has chosen Corillian® Online and Voyager®banking solutions from Fiserv to serve retail banking customers, small and medium-sized businesses, and corporate customers across its unique brands (Westpac RBB, St George and BankSA).
The Westpac Group intends to provide online banking services that are as unique as its customers, said Bob McKinnon, group executive Technology, The Westpac Group.
Mr McKinnon added that the bank currently serves more than two million active online customers and expects this channel to continue to grow.

Fiserv will establish a technology Centre of Excellence in Sydney that will house senior strategists and developers to enable continued growth in the region, and to support the online initiative.
