(23 April 2026 – United States) ACI Worldwide has launched a cloud-native platform aimed at simplifying the growing operational burden of managing multiple payment rails in the US.
The solution, ACI Connetic, connects banks to a broad range of clearing networks—including SWIFT, FedNow and Zelle—through a single, unified infrastructure.
The move comes as banks increasingly operate parallel payment systems. According to the US Faster Payments Council, a majority of institutions offering instant payments now run both FedNow and The Clearing House RTP simultaneously, often duplicating compliance, fraud and operational processes.
ACI Connetic is designed to consolidate these functions, enabling connectivity across high-value, real-time and batch payment rails—including Fedwire, CHIPS and RTP—while also supporting emerging use cases such as stablecoins and tokenised deposits. ACH connectivity is expected to be added in a future phase.

The platform builds on ACI’s broader push to unify payments infrastructure globally, with deployments already underway across Europe and the UK. Earlier this year, the company also extended the platform to card payments and ATM processing, bringing multiple payment types and fraud management into a single cloud-native architecture.
