(New Zealand) – Telecom Corp of New Zealand has awarded ANZ Banking Group Ltd its NZ$40 million payment collection and processing contract.The four year contract results from Telecom wanting a single solution source for all its payment collections and processing and a somewhat elongated beauty parade that began back in June last year with five transaction banks being invited to tender.
ANZ has sub-let the contract’s over-the-counter payment services to New Zealand Post and remittance processing to Telecom New Zealand’s IT&T supplier, EDS.
