(24 January 2007 – Australia) ANZ is partnering with Telstra to provide co-branded standalone ATM-Payphone kiosks.The initiative will be piloted in five suburban locations in Melbourne with the first to be officially launched in Centre Road, Bentleigh in the south east of Melbourne.
ANZ managing director for Consumer Finance Jenny Fagg said the service was replicating similar successful models in the UK.
“These new kiosks are a convenient and innovative way to provide banking and phone services to customers in popular shopping locations,” she said.
“The high visibility and strategic presence of these kiosks provides customers with another option for accessing these community services.”
