(12 August 2026 – Ireland) Magill will start in the role in November and join Bank of Ireland’s group executive committee.
He joins from Vodafone, where he most recently served as human resources director for Vodafone EU Markets and Group Commercial. Here, he has responsibility for people, organisation and culture strategies across multiple European markets and more than 40,000 employees.
Magill has held a number of senior leadership roles at Vodafone and Accenture across Ireland, the UK, Europe and New Zealand. During this time, he led large-scale people and organisational transformation programmes, HR digitalisation, talent and leadership development, employee experience initiatives and organisational effectiveness strategies, supporting businesses through significant growth, change and transformation.
