(9 April 2024 – Hong Kong) BNP Paribas has announced a new Asia Pacific (APAC) Head of Global Banking.
Aymar de Liedekerke Beaufort has been promoted to the newly created role of APAC Global Banking Head, based in Hong Kong. He will report to BNP Paribas Global Banking Head Yannick Jung and BNP Paribas APAC CEO Paul Yang.
He will be responsible for the Paris headquartered heavyweight’s global banking business across APAC encompassing corporate clients, global capital markets and transaction banking.
East & Partners Trade & Supply Chain Finance Asia service, based on direct interviews with the Top 100 revenue ranked corporates in each of ten Asia countries, reveals a steady growth trajectory for BNP Paribas in APAC for both transaction banking and trade finance relationships, competing closely with BofA, MUFG, DB and ANZ.
His appointment follows the announcement of Dorothée Regazzoni as South Korea Head and CEO of its Seoul branch in place of the departing De Liedekerke Beaufort.
