CBA aims to improve NetBank

(27 October 2009 – Australia) Commonwealth Bank announced that it is adding a raft of new features during October and November, to its online banking channel NetBank, in a bid to offer customers greater ease of use and transparency.The Netbank features currently being rolled out to customers are improved search features, the ability to export up to 600 transactions to Excel and other accounting packages, higher payment limits and enhanced information pages.

They will also implement more alerts and reminders to help customers better manage their money to avoid penalty fees.

Netbank business customers will have access to direct contact details of their Relationship Manager within NetBank.

They will also be able to apply for new business credit card accounts and personalise their business credit card to include their company name.

Drew Unsworth, general manager online banking, CBA said that the bank’s recent enhancements are focused on fine tuning the online experience for customers so that CBA can further empower customers to manage their money online and give them flexibility and transparency over their account holdings, in particular, improving search functionality and security.
