(15 March 2011 – Australia) Citibank has today appointed a new head of mortgages to its growing third party team.Vibha Coburn joins the lender after more than 8 years working in Citibank’s Asia Pacific regional office and Singapore.
Ms Coburn was most recently employed as a director in secured finance solutions at Citibank Singapore.
This included responsibility for the mortgage business in Singapore where she diversified distribution of the product, building business through both indirect and direct sales.
Citibank Australia chief executive Roy Gori said Ms Coburn’s expertise in international mortgages made her the perfect candidate for the role.
“Her experience with Citibank in Asia and in the banking industry in Australia is also of great value,” Mr Gori said.
