(29 April 2026 – Global) Citi has appointed James Carolan as global head of FX structuring & solutions.
He will lead the FX structuring & solutions team, focusing on originating and structuring innovative client solutions, and delivering advanced risk advisory content.
Carolan is expected to work closely with sales, trading, and other markets and banking partners.
He brings 15 years of industry experience in his new role. He was most recently head of North America’s corporate macro structuring, global head of deal contingent structuring, and global head of institutional FX structuring at Deutsche Bank.
He joins Citi in July 2026.
