( 17 June 2026 – APAC) Citi has named JianXun Toh as head of corporate banking for its Japan, Asia North, and Australia (JANA) cluster, effective immediately.
Toh steps up from his previous role leading technology and communications corporate banking across JANA and Asia South. In the new position, he will oversee Citi’s coverage of local corporates, financial institutions, the public sector, and multinational subsidiaries across the region, with accountability for risk and controls culture within the JANA corporate banking business.
His former technology and communications role remains unfilled. Corporate banking co-heads Marcelo Marangon and Kaleem Rizvi, alongside JANA cluster head Marc Luet, confirmed in a joint statement that a successor search is underway to “ensure continued leadership and focus for the Technology & Communications franchise.”
