(25 June 2008 – Australia) Citibank has released a new product covering global banking in the personal banking and investment services space.The new product will be offered by Citigold Global Banking. The product will offer a personal banking and investment service to clients holding $100,000 or more with Citibank.
The product primarily gives customers access to investment markets and deposits globally. This gives access to different market movements and currencies.
Citibank is aiming the product at frequent Australian travellers who can utilise a cross border product of this nature.
The product will also allow customers to easily open up new accounts in other countries when relocating.
Citibank said its Australian clients were frequent travellers with 55 percent having travelled overseas in the past six months.
