(12 April 2017 – Australia) The German bank said in a statement this week that Anthony Miller will lead the Australian unit. He was most recently a partner at Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong and former co-head of the firm's financing group, based in Sydney.
Based out of Sydney, Miller will report to Deutsche CEO for Asia Pacific Werner Steinmüller and regional head of investment banking, James McMurdo.
Steinmüller said of the appointment: “We are delighted to welcome Anthony to Deutsche Bank. He brings a wealth of experience in many products and sectors as well as deep client relationships across the Asia Pacific region.
“The breadth of his experience across capital markets and financing solutions is ideally suited to our platform. I am confident he will further develop the close alignment in our Corporate Finance and Global Markets businesses. He also brings Asia Pacific experience and connectivity, which will be critical as we seek to build on the momentum in our cross-border client activities.”
