(15 January 2019 – Hong Kong) Barclays has appointed a new head of its Asia Pacific operations as the bank renews its focus on the region.
Vanessa Koo, previously head of banking at Barclays for the Greater China region will take on greater responsibilities as the new head for the Asia Pacific region.
Lars Aagaard will fulfil her vacated position while maintaining his role as head of financial sponsors in the region.
Reid Marsh, head of banking for Europe, Middle East & Asia Pacific at Barclays said “Both of these appointments are instrumental in driving the growth of our banking franchise in the Asia region.
