(Hong Kong) – The Hong Kong Monetary Authority says a direct link between its transaction settlement system and Europe’s Clearstream has gone live.The link between the HKMA’s Central Moneymarkets Unit and Clearstream Banking Luxembourg’s settlement system will give Hong Kong investors direct access to more than 200,000 different securities issues in more than 30 different countries.
