(22 April 2021 – Global) HSBC have announced Paul Griffiths as the new global head of institutional business (IB) for asset management.
He will replace Brain Heyworth who left the firm last year after being offered a new position at Lansdowne Partners as co-managing partner.
Mr. Griffiths previously worked as Chief Investment Officer (CIO) for fixed income and multi-asset solutions at First Sentier Investors. In his new role at HSBC, he will be responsible for commercial development of HSBC asset management institutional business, together with institutional sales and client management. He will report to Nicolas Moreau the CEO of global asset management effective from 5 May.
